This is not house cleaning
Most of our work is empty property. Turnovers between tenants, move-outs before a listing goes live, post-construction cleanup, and getting a home ready for photos. A few quick answers
Am I an employee?
No. You work as an Independent Cleaning Professional on a 1099 basis. You report your own earnings, handle your own taxes, and run your own business. Maid Bea does not withhold payroll taxes or provide employee benefits.
How many jobs do I have to take?
One booking a week keeps your account active. There is no maximum. Take on as much as you can responsibly handle, and skip the weeks that do not work for you.
Do I have to accept every booking?
No. You accept the bookings that fit your schedule and your location. Once you accept one we expect you to complete it, because a client is counting on it.
How much does a job pay?
It depends on the job, and you will always know before you take it. Each posting carries a flat rate for that specific clean, so you can weigh the drive, the scope, and the pay against each other before you commit.
How and when do I get paid?
Clients pay electronically through our system, so you never handle cash or checks. We release your payment on the 7th for work completed between the 16th and the end of the previous month, and on the 21st for work completed between the 1st and the 15th.
